1 Minute Wedding Tips - Rehearsal Length

How Long Does My Wedding Rehearsal Take? Who Should Run My Wedding Rehearsal?

Hi I’m Jim Cerone The Perfect Host with your One Minute Wedding Tips.

How long does your wedding rehearsal take? And who should run it?

Your rehearsal will last about an hour. Your venue manager, wedding planner, officiant or your Perfect Host can help run it for you.

This is literally your chance to walk through your wedding ceremony. That way, you and your friends know where you're coming from and where you’re going to stand. You figure out who's sitting where, and who’s escorting your grandmother or your mother down the aisle.

The best way to start your rehearsal is with everyone standing at the front where they're going to end up for the ceremony. Then Practice going out once – your recessional. Practice coming in once – your processional, practice going out again and then see if anyone has questions.

That’s it! Then you can go and enjoy your rehearsal dinner!

1 Minute Wedding Tips - Your "Must Play" Songs

What Songs Should I Play At My Wedding? What Are My Must Plays?

Hi I’m Jim Cerone The Perfect Host with your One Minute Wedding Tips

Between now and your wedding day, I’ll be helping you think of the songs that are going to light up your dance floor! Your Must Play songs.

I’m gonna ask about you what you listened to when you were in high school and college. What songs you remember Spring Breaks, Road Trips or family reunions. If you played sports, What did you listen to in the locker room or on the bus to psych up before games? What’s your favorite TV show, your favorite movie? What’s your favorite place to hang out and what do they play there?

We all have what I call “secret weapon songs” – the ones that have special meaning for you, your family or you friends. What are YOUR Must Play songs? We’ll discover them together!
