1 Minute Wedding Tips - Feed Who?

Which Vendors Do I Have To Feed at My Wedding? Do I Have to Feed My Wedding Vendors?

Jim Cerone here, The Perfect Host, with your One Minute Wedding Tips.

As your big day gets closer, you’ll need to give your caterer your final head count for meals.

Should you include your wedding professionals? Your photographer and videographer – they’ll be with you a long time that day and they'll appreciate a meal with the rest of your guests. Your wedding planner and their team will help you with details all day and it's nice to offer them food as well.

One person you will not need to feed is ME. Because I’m too busy making sure your guests are having a great time and keeping your wedding moving. But thank you for asking!

1 Minute Wedding Tips - Success Secret?

Will My Wedding Vendors Work Together? How Does My Wedding Team Communicate?

Hi I’m Jim Cerone The Perfect Host with your One Minute Wedding Tips

You may have 10 to 15 different services all working for you on your wedding day. Communication is SO important!

When we meet, I’ll ask about who’s on your team: your venue contact, your caterer, your photographer & videographer, your wedding planner.

Then, I’ll reach out in advance to confirm details with them, make sure our timelines match up and share your Entertainment Agenda.

Once your party starts, I’ll keep touching base with your team all night. Before introducing your important moments, I’ll talk with your wedding planner, make sure your photographer is in place and ready, make sure your videographer has their audio feed.

Open communication is the secret to your successful wedding day. Your team and I will be working together for you!

1 Minute Wedding Tips - How To Cut Your Wedding Cake

How Do I Cut My Wedding Cake? How To Cut Cake?

Hi it’s Jim Cerone The Perfect Host with your One Minute Wedding Tips.

How do you cut a wedding cake?

On your cake table, there should be a plate, a knife and a napkin. Your photographer or venue manager may be standing by to help.

But you and your new spouse hold the knife and cut a slice together, usually out of the bottom tier of the cake. Then get it on the plate. It doesn’t matter how it looks - it may be the most mangled piece of cake ever, but don't worry no one can see it but you two.

Then with fingers or forks, you feed each other a piece of cake. Some people save that top tier of cake for the one year anniversary. Use the napkin to clean up, then enjoy a sip of champagne from your toasting flutes!
