1 Minute Wedding Tips - Will Guests Hear Your Vows?

Will People Hear My Vows at My Wedding? Do I Need Microphones at My Wedding?

Hi I’m Jim Cerone The Perfect Host with your One Minute Wedding Tips.

Why do you need microphones for your ceremony itself?

You’ve been to a few weddings: were you able to hear when the bride and groom said their vows?

Your wedding ceremony is the most important part of the day. It's where you officially get married! Guests won’t be able to hear you or your officiant without microphones.

A lapel mic like this goes will go on the officiant and the groom. If you’re reading extended vows to each other (more than just “I do, I will”) then I’ll have another mic ready for that. I can also provide a microphone if you have anyone reading, a soloist or if you have musicians.

Doing sound for wedding ceremonies is complicated! You need someone with experience, the right equipment and speakers, so your guests can hear every word.

1 Minute Wedding Tips - Your Grand Entrance

How To Do A Wedding Grand Entrance? How Will I Walk In To My Wedding? Your Grand Entrance

The Perfect Host here, Jim Cerone, with your One Minute Wedding Tips. Imagine - Your guests have taken their seats, dinner’s almost ready and you and your new spouse are outside waiting to be introduced. What song should you walk in to? What will that moment be like?

Your grand entrance can be crazy and fun, or simple and elegant. You could include the parents, the wedding party, or…just you two. Your bridesmaids could come in to 1 song, the groomsmen to another, and then a different song for you two. Or you could give me a sentence about each person and I’ll “roast” them as they walk in.

Whatever you decide, we’ll make it fast to keep the evening moving. We’ll talk about this at your planning session. In the meantime, check out my Ultimate Grand Entrance playlist on Spotify! 1 Minute Wedding Tips with Jim Cerone The Perfect Host DJ MC
